Nonstop Flights to Australia from Mongolia announces MIAT

mongolian airline miat planeMIAT Mongolian Airlines is set to introduce non-stop flights to Australia. The Ministry of Roads and Transport Development is actively engaged in negotiating an OPEN SKY agreement with Australia, as it is home to a substantial Mongolian expatriate population.

Starting in the second quarter of 2024, direct flights from Mongolia to the United States will be a reality. This will result in significantly reduced ticket prices, ranging from $1,000 to $1,500, and shorter flight durations of approximately 10 to 12 hours.

Furthermore, an air service agreement was recently reached between the Mongolian government and the Greek government on August 24th.

Mongolia has entered into air service agreements with 42 different countries and has established the necessary legal frameworks to enable direct flights to 115 destinations across the globe.
